Financial Assistance Application - YMCA of Silicon Valley

YMCA of Silicon Valley is here to serve all communities. As part of this commitment, we allocate resources to provide financial assistance to those that need help. Through our Annual Campaign, the Y raises and distributes funds on a first-come-first-serve basis to youth, adults, and families based on individual needs and circumstances. Awards for Membership and Program financial assistance are extended as fundraising dollars allow.

Please bring your supporting documentation to the nearest Y location. Applications will not be approved until documentation is reviewed. We will view your documentation only.

Day Camp, Afterschool, and Resident Camp applications are reviewed during designated application periods:
Day Camp, Resident Camp, Overnight Camp Application Period: 11/15-4/30
Afterschool Application Period: 3/1-7/15

Note: Afterschool financial assistance is awarded to families participating in YMCA Afterschool programs only.

Awards for Youth Sports, Swimming, Teen, and Family programming are reviewed during the below application periods. Renewals every 6 months.

Renewal Documentation:
Pricing for program and membership will return to full fee at end of award cycle. It is the member/participant responsibility to submit renewal documentation within 30 days of expiring financial assistance to be reviewed by staff. You will receive a notification 30-days prior to your membership financial assistance expiring prompting you to re-apply. Program participants must re-apply every 6 months for Swim Lessons and Youth Sports and annually for Afterschool and Day Camp. It is the participant responsibility to re-apply.
